We took the lead in crafting the visuals for the 60th Golden Horse Awards. To fully conceptualize this idea of ‘life’, we returned to the purest form of animation — hand-drawn animation.

We collaborated with a team of 15 artists to create the opening sequence and 24 nominations, with over 1000 meticulously hand-drawn frames seeking to capture the transience of daily life. A mixed media of crayons, charcoal, pastels, acrylics, and oil pastels worked to express the organics of living. Imperfect but irreplicable strokes of hand-drawn art provided a genuine, emotional experience.
