Mexican narco figure’s escape to Taiwan

The Bitoy brand’s second work was inspired by the protagonist Pablo Escobar from Netflix’s original series, “Narcos: Mexico,” appealing to collectors all over the world.

We created a Taiwanese figure of the protagonist, the Mexican narco, under the premise that he escaped to Taiwan after becoming a wanted criminal. Its appearance was designed to retain the protagonist’s features, such as his curly hair and floral shirts. There were four outfit designs in total, including a local Colombian design, striped design, gangster design, and a design that features the characteristic Taiwanese style of tank tops and blue and white slippers. The accessories were specially designed to feature a Motorola DynaTAC and a classic .45 caliber pistol at the waist.

In the promotional video, we took this figure on a trip all around Taiwan, thus representing the idea of him being on the run and creating collisions between cultural interests.
