Creating a sense of local life through diverse styles

“ Windwin ” is one of the two teasers of the main lantern “ Island of Spark.”

A long projection screen that surrounded the Yinghsi Gate area was utilized to create interesting visual effects in a horizontal space. The rich and diverse range of style expressions connected the local life experiences of the audience.

“ Windwin ” presented Hsinchu’s imagery of the wind with a light and lively hand-drawn style. By following the steps of the characters in the illustrations, passing through many local historical sites and buildings, and incorporating interesting plotlines, audiences were able to witness the various forms of Hsinchu life.
