Figure designs full of passion and faith

“the BITOY” was a collaboration with the exhibition, “The Beatles, tomorrow,” and marked the first time Bito ventured into toy design by designing the figures.

Based on the imagery of the album cover of British rock band the Beatles’ “Abbey Road,” the graphic designer transformed this classic scene to pay tribute to the greatest and most innovative band in history. Simultaneously, we instilled Bito’s belief in the passion of design to create a desktop memoir exclusive to designers and a tool that aims to share love and joy.

We reshaped the characters’ forms through rounded and simple lines, then used a 3D animation software to simulate the models and a 3D printer to materialize them. The design of the outer box also combined the art of Honduran illustrator Wilmer Murillo, which employed blues and yellows to create bright logos, conveying the lessons that Bito learned from the Beatles: the “courage to innovate” and “passion.”
