Breaking through the impressions of local snacks and famous landmarks

The 29th Summer Universiade, commonly known as the Taipei 2017 Universiade, took place in Taipei, Taiwan, from 19 to 30 August 2017. This image film announces the event. Using fast-paced editing, it combines scenes showing pulsating Taipei City and scenes of athletes in different moments of high concentration and ambition, with the aim of expressing the tangible and invisible energy between these two backdrops.

This storyline is undergirded by tension-creating cuts and short slow-motion sequences, as well as by interjecting dazzling lines of energy using light effects.

In this campaign film, we challenge the new vision as never before. To capture rare scenes of the upper air, underwater in our daily lives and explore graphic design – like attractions in the city, we utilize equipment such as high-speed camera, aerial camera, GoPro, and high-speed underwater camera, etc., combining with live action shooting, hyperlapse, and animation production.
