After 10 years, Cheer Chen once again collaborated with Bito to create a music video.

The story of the music video was like a fairy-tale journey, taking place in a small town that primarily relied on the moon as its source of light. One day, however, the moon vanished. The moon waxes and wanes, symbolizing the imperfection of life, and the video featured a boat as an important part of the story. Following the boat was like following the protagonist as they met companions and experienced joy, fear, hope, adventure, and loss.

This time, we used cel animation to retain a sense of delicacy and humanity. The video adopted “light” as its theme, featuring perfectly divided proportions between light and shadow that shaped the changes in the city’s brightness, shadows, contour, and emotions. By crossing between vertical and horizontal lenses and adopting unique aspect ratios to break existing frameworks, there would no longer be a need for rotation, whether viewing on mobile or any other screen, thus retaining the novelty of each and every second.
