Communicating brand positioning through visual design
Since the establishment of TCCF, the brand has faced two problems. The first is related to the film and television content industry. Such content is all-encompassing, and the range of different exhibitions and collaborations with various designers leads to a confusing brand image. The second is concerned with an ambiguous positioning of itself, causing easy confusion with other departments and an inability to leave a distinct impression internationally.
We began by assisting TCCF in defining an identity of its own: the premium choice, “Your Best Partner in Asia” for co-production in Asia. TCCF connects buyers and sellers and links between fields and industries, integrating Taiwan’s assets, resources, and talents all in one place. Then, through brand identity design, TCCF is able to present a consistently professional and commercial image.
The logo design utilized the negative space on the T and the F to symbolize that TCCF connects the buyer, the seller, and the platform. This dynamic logo emphasized TCCF’s role in meeting the different needs of international partners, playing a matchmaker between resources and contacts. Different elements of the logo were employed to create an extended application system that highlighted the diverse possibilities of the content industry.
