Dynamic Logo Cleverly Combines 40th Anniversary Spirit and Museum Architecture Imagery

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum has begun the expansion of a new building. The new building will be the first underground art museum in Taiwan, integrating parkland, new media, interdisciplinary exhibition spaces, cultural and recreational facilities, merging the urban, natural, and artistic elements into one.

The 40th anniversary and the expansion of the new building mark significant milestones for the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, akin to a pivotal moment of evolution, akin to cellular division.

The 40th-anniversary logo is designed to highlight the significance of the expansion, using a strong visual black and white color scheme, representing the "40" in a split form, also symbolizing the architectural imagery of the old and new buildings, one square and one circle. Employing eight different design techniques and materials, the logo portrays the powerful energy emanating from cellular division, symbolizing the interplay of different fields and media, further reflecting the Taipei Fine Arts Museum's vision of interdisciplinary, future-oriented, and diverse development.
